We’re committed to providing Christian Care for Elderly Christians.
We provide opportunities for residents and staff to receive pastoral care on a one-to-one basis. In addition, opportunity exists for residents to enjoy prayer meetings, to participate in group bible studies, daily epilogues with a biblical focus, a Sunday devotional service with an opportunity to hear a weekly sermon and to attend a regular communion service.
There is an occupational requirement for senior staff to be a committed Christian, able to demonstrate their biblical understanding of the Gospel, and to give testimony to their life in Christ.
Carers and Support staff may be either committed Christians or Christian sympathetic, able to demonstrate their willingness to adhere to the ethical and professional standards of the Christian ethos of Koinonia Christian Care.
Koinonia is situated close to Worthing Town centre and within a reasonable walking distance of the seafront. The Home is currently registered by the Care Quality Commission for Dementia Care and Old People – over 65, male and female.
Please feel free to read or download our brochure or contact us and we will be more than happy to forward a printed copy to you by post.
Admission and Fees
We recognise that the need to make the decision to give up one’s own home and enter residential accommodation is often a difficult one. We are always happy to arrange for anyone considering moving to Koinonia to visit the home to meet staff and residents.
Please contact the office if you would like to make an appointment to look around.
